With over 200 members, we are a dynamic and diverse association of human resource professionals. We are a local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management®and affiliated with the Northwest Human Resource Management Association. We welcome practitioners at all levels and those in service to the profession who share our goals.

If you are not currently a member of SHRM, please feel free to register as a guest of our site. By registering as a guest - you will receive emails, future newsletters and you will be able to register for our functions online. After you have had the opportunity to see what membership can do for you, we encourage you to join SHRM andreceiveall the benefits of membership. Columbia Basin Chapter is a 100% chapter. All of our members must join SHRM to become members with our chapter. You are welcome to participate in any of our events/meetings/activities as a guest up to five (5) times. After the 5th time, you will be required to join SHRM and affiliate with our chapter to continue participating.

The Northwest Human Resource Management Association (NHRMA) provides support to the Columbia Basin Chapter of SHRM and professional development opportunities for HR professionals and students in the states of Alaska, Oregon and Washington who are members in good standing with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
